
Requesting English Class | Easy Spoken English Class
We can use one of the following language expressions when we want to get something done by someone for us.
‘WILL‘ ‘COULD‘ and ‘WOULD‘ are used for more polite requests (requesting).
Example:
a) Would you like some mangoes, please?
b) Will you help me with the project?
c) Can you carry this bag for me?
d) Could you pass me some salt, please?
‘Could‘ is the most polite form to make a request.
You can use it when you request a stranger or an older person.
